About the position

The position serves as a key liaison among various teams including the customer community, product management, clinical operations, and development teams within a complex clinical environment. The role focuses on defining product requirements and specifications to facilitate the engineering development process, ensuring successful product launches and enhancements.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a conduit for requirements between customer community, product management, clinical operations, and development team.
  • Define product requirements and specifications to drive the engineering development process.
  • Participate in the take-to-market strategy to assure product success.
  • Transform business objectives and domain-specific marketing requirements into actionable engineering stories.
  • Participate in the sprinting process and drive cost, content, and planning tradeoffs throughout the development cycle.
  • Work closely with clinical product management, technical, and architecture leads in developing product concepts and technology roadmap.
  • Participate in roll-out and pilot program assessment, collaborating with field operations, documentation, and product road-mapping.
  • Serve as Product Lead in an Agile environment with SCRUM development methodology, developing software, defining EPICS, Features, and User-Stories.
  • Actively participate in Kaizen and Sprint processes, managing cost, features, and schedule tradeoffs throughout the development cycle.
  • Interface effectively with cross-functional teams of clinical domain experts, Product Directors, Program Management, and application development teams in new product development/enhancement process.
  • Prioritize product fixes and enhancements based on customer input.
  • Collaborate with developers and QA Engineers to produce and test new features and fixes.
  • Become a product expert and subject matter expert on a portfolio of clinical protocol products.

Requirements

  • Minimum of a master's degree in industrial and systems engineering, computer science, computer engineering, or related field.
  • One year of experience in the job or performing similar duties with SCRUM.
