As a Product Manager, you will take ownership of a segment of the company's product portfolio, managing and strategizing its lifecycle from conception through to market delivery. You'll act as the central figure in defining the product's value proposition, deeply understanding market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscapes. Your role will be pivotal in steering product features, benefits, pricing strategies, and go-to-market plans, ensuring alignment with customer demands and market opportunities. In this role, you will conduct thorough market analysis to shape competitive product strategies and portfolio management. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including sales, marketing, R&D, and operations to capture the voice of the customer, pinpoint strategic product necessities, assess product concept viability, and craft detailed product requirements. You will prioritize product development initiatives, balancing potential revenue, strategic significance, resource availability, and compatibility with the existing product lineup. Additionally, you will benchmark competitive offerings, devising sales and marketing tools that highlight our unique advantages, and stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and advancements, adapting product development strategies accordingly. Your responsibilities will also include facilitating strategic discussions with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure product features and strategies meet market demands, supporting the creation and upkeep of comprehensive product documentation and promotional materials in collaboration with various internal teams, and serving as the leading advocate and spokesperson for the company's products, both within the organization and in the broader market.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • A Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Business, with an MBA preferred.
  • At least 1+ year of experience in Product Management, ideally within the HVAC-R sector or related fields.
  • Proven track record in New Product Development, demonstrating effective collaboration with R&D teams.
  • Strong foundation in HVAC-R, with a preference for experience in residential, commercial, or industrial applications.
  • Exceptional presentation skills, with the confidence to engage with technical experts, customers, and business leaders.
  • Competency in interpreting mechanical, electrical, and architectural documents, including blueprints, specifications, and HVAC equipment data.
