Responsibilities

  • Define the product strategy for SpotOn restaurant software suite
  • Manage the product roadmap, making strategic adjustments based on client needs, data, and business priority
  • Innovate in product vision and design
  • Work with cross-functional teams to prioritize requests for new functionality
  • Assess market competition, client preferences, and industry trends
  • Continuously test and leverage insights to inform decisions
  • Build relationships with key business partners and stakeholders
  • Collaborate with product marketing on product positioning

Requirements

  • 4+ years of relevant product management experience or equivalent, preferably with restaurant or hospitality software
  • Strong understanding of the product development lifecycle
  • Metrics-driven work style that leverages data for decision making
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in an iterative process
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to empathize with customers to understand their needs
  • Ability to make decisions with imperfect information and manage ambiguity
  • Past restaurant experience, especially working in a restaurant or bar, is a serious plus

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in the restaurant or hospitality industry
  • Familiarity with data analysis and metrics-driven decision making
