About the position

The Product Manager Lead for the Ad Platform at TikTok is responsible for driving the development and improvement of advertising solutions to enhance customer return on investment (ROI) and satisfaction. This role involves analyzing business challenges, defining strategies, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure successful product development and market launch. The position also includes managing individual contributor product managers and evolving processes to improve delivery speed and quality.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the product development of TikTok Ad Platform, continuously improving ad solutions for better customer ROI and satisfaction.
  • Analyze and diagnose business problems, opportunities, and risks, defining strategy and roadmap.
  • Define key metrics to evaluate business outcomes and progress.
  • Work globally and cross-functionally with engineers, UX, data analysts, product marketing managers, and other partners for successful development and go-to-market efforts.
  • Evolve processes and resources to improve delivery speed and quality.
  • Manage individual contributor Product Managers.

Requirements

  • BA/BS degree in Computer Science or related technical field (e.g. Mathematics, Statistics) or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5+ years experience in online advertising or search engines in a product management function.
  • Deep understanding of and experience in digital advertising.
  • Ability to define product strategy.
  • Strong collaborator with a proven track record of building relationships cross-functionally with key stakeholders.
  • Excellent documentation, presentation, communication, organizational, and analytical skills.

  • Experience building Enterprise UI products.
