About the position

The Product Manager for MAPD/PDP will play a crucial role in an award-winning software company operating within the healthcare payor/provider space. This position is based in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and offers a competitive salary range of $100K to $120K. As a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the company's product and service offerings, the Product Manager will be responsible for collaborating with various teams to ensure that client requirements are effectively translated into actionable business solutions. This role requires a strong operational focus, working closely with the Development team to create and manage product roadmaps that align with client needs and company capabilities. In this position, the Product Manager will engage in the new business capture process, working alongside Sales, Operations, and Implementation teams to gather and synthesize client requirements. The goal is to design solutions that are not only innovative but also achievable and cost-effective. The Product Manager will be tasked with developing, configuring, and communicating these solutions to ensure successful execution by the respective teams. This role is pivotal in representing the company's technology capabilities and processes during presentations and discussions, thereby contributing to the overall success of the organization. The Product Manager will also collaborate with Customer Service teams to assess the efficiency of current solutions and understand client experiences. This feedback loop is essential for continuous improvement and innovation in the company's offerings. By partnering with the Sales team, the Product Manager will ensure that they are well-equipped with the necessary knowledge about products and services, enabling them to effectively represent the company's capabilities to potential clients.

Responsibilities

  • Be part of the new business capture team to elicit, synthesize and translate client requirements into solutions.
  • Participate in requirements gathering and solution design for new opportunities in partnership with the Implementation team.
  • Work with Implementation teams to translate requirements into strategic and tactical plans for customers.
  • Represent company/technology capabilities, processes and experiences effectively, accurately and persuasively at oral presentations, partnering/teaming discussions and other meetings.
  • Contribute to the development of innovative solutions.
  • Collaborate with leadership to create standard customer solutions and methodologies.
  • Collaborate with Customer Service teams to understand current experiences and the efficiency of the solutions provided to existing clients.
  • Partner with Sales team to provide them with the knowledge about products, services, methods, solutions and experience to ensure that they represent company capabilities effectively.

Requirements

  • Expert in Medicare Part C and/or Part D (MAPD/PDP)
  • Strong/Senior level Product Manager experience
  • BA or BS Degree in Computer Science or Information Systems or Business
