About the position

The Product Manager, Marketing Engagement & Professional Education - Bladder at Johnson & Johnson is responsible for overseeing the planning, budgeting, vendor management, and internal stakeholder engagement for the GU Portfolio Teams' Speaker Bureaus and Advisory Boards. This role is critical in ensuring operational excellence and effective execution of marketing strategies within the oncology portfolio, particularly focusing on bladder and prostate cancer. The position requires collaboration with various cross-functional teams to enhance customer engagement and deliver impactful educational programs.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure operational excellence related to planning, budgeting, vendor management, and internal stakeholder engagement for GU Portfolio Teams' Speaker Bureaus and Advisory Boards.
  • Coordinate and submit professional education plans including the Annual Needs Assessment across the GU portfolio.
  • Accountable for the planning and execution of speaker program activities, acting as a liaison between the GU Portfolio Team and the Speaker Program Vendor.
  • Deliver key operational workstreams and execution of Speaker Programs in accordance with J&J standard operating procedures.
  • Develop and manage planning timelines and action plans in collaboration with cross-functional partners.
  • Identify and implement innovative practices to enhance customer stakeholder experiences at speaker programs.
  • Ensure strict adherence to legal and regulatory guidelines for medical education compliance.

Requirements

  • A minimum of a bachelor's degree is required; MBA or advanced degree in related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of work experience, with 2 years in marketing, sales, or commercial insight strategy experience.
  • Practical knowledge of pharmaceutical marketing, including FDA regulatory and legal environment and HCC regulations.
  • Highly detailed and organized; capable of managing multiple large-scale events and priorities simultaneously.
  • Ability to strategically lead through influence and work effectively in a matrix environment.
  • Demonstrated experience in critical marketing competencies: analysis, customer/market knowledge, marketing execution.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
  • Experience leading continuous process improvement initiatives.

  • Experience working with brand marketing or field teams (Prostate, Bladder, Sales).
  • Knowledge of internal systems: Totality, ARIBA, IMPROVE, iMedical and CentrisDirect.
