About the position

The Product Manager, Marketing Engagement & Professional Education - Prostate at Johnson & Johnson is responsible for overseeing the planning, budgeting, vendor management, and internal stakeholder engagement for speaker bureaus and advisory boards related to prostate health. This role is critical in collaborating with various teams to ensure effective execution of marketing strategies and educational programs, ultimately enhancing customer engagement and operational excellence within the oncology portfolio.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure operational excellence related to planning, budgeting, vendor management, and internal stakeholder engagement for Prostate Speaker Bureaus and Advisory Boards.
  • Coordinate and submit professional education plans including the Annual Needs Assessment across the GU portfolio.
  • Partner with GPD and PD to develop innovative engagement platforms for healthcare professionals (HCPs).
  • Manage the planning and execution of speaker program activities, including pre-, peri-, and post-speaker programs.
  • Act as the liaison between the Prostate Team and the Speaker Program Vendor, supporting communications and scheduling.
  • Deliver key operational workstreams and execute Speaker Programs in accordance with J&J standard operating procedures.
  • Identify opportunities for innovation and operational improvement in speaker programs and advisory boards.
  • Develop and manage planning timelines and action plans in collaboration with cross-functional partners.
  • Ensure effective communication with internal stakeholders and external partners regarding speaker programs.
  • Manage budgets, administrative tasks, and logistics for speaker training and events.

Requirements

  • A minimum of a bachelor's degree is required; MBA or advanced degree in related field preferred.
  • A minimum of 5 years of work experience, with 2 years in marketing, sales, or commercial insight strategy experience.
  • Practical knowledge of pharmaceutical marketing, including FDA regulatory and legal environment.
  • Highly detailed and organized, capable of managing multiple large-scale events and priorities simultaneously.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead through influence and work effectively in a matrix environment.
  • Experience in critical marketing competencies: analysis, customer/market knowledge, and marketing execution.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
  • Experience leading continuous process improvement initiatives.

  • Experience in Oncology
  • Experience working with brand marketing or field teams (Prostate, Bladder, Sales).
  • Knowledge of internal systems: Totality, ARIBA, IMPROVE, iMedical, and CentrisDirect.
