Responsibilities

• Identify unmet customer needs and market opportunities for feature development through quantitative and qualitative analyses.
• Collaborate with product teams to translate business needs into AI solutions, scoping impact and prioritization of problems with minimal guidance.
• Develop problem statements and hypotheses to address customer needs, performing experiments to test these hypotheses.
• Validate market size and opportunity to determine valuable features, defining final solution options for a group of features.
• Drive clarity of root problems and engage in customer interactions to gather feedback.
• Conduct market/user research, competitive analyses, and understand industry trends and regulations.
• Align customer, market, and feature goals with Microsoft's strategy with minimal guidance.
• Create and manage end-to-end project plans for technical solutions.
• Provide hands-on product management during analysis, design, development, testing, and implementation to meet customer requirements.
• Coordinate day-to-day activities in Scrum teams, ensuring timely and high-quality project delivery through risk planning and management.
• Evangelize group work with stakeholders and share knowledge by articulating results and ideas to customers and decision-makers.
• Partner with software engineers and applied scientists to refine solutions tied to OKRs and KPIs.
• Stay current with the latest machine learning research and technology, communicating knowledge throughout the organization.

Requirements

• Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree (or currently pursuing a degree).
• 2+ years experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development.
• 1+ year experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.

Nice-to-haves

• Currently pursuing or have completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree.
• 4+ years experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development.
• Experience in project/product/program management or customer design.
• Effective storytelling, teamwork, written and oral communication skills.
• Experience in data analysis, data visualization, machine learning/data mining/AI.
