About the position

Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine is seeking a Product Manager for Medical Education & Market Development, located in Horsham, PA. This role is pivotal in supporting the development of strategies and tactics that drive professional engagement and activation for TREMFYA®, particularly in the Rheumatology sector. As the market prepares for significant data readouts over the next 6-24 months, the Product Manager will play a crucial role in activating the medical education strategy through insight generation, content development, and the meticulous planning of conferences, societies, and advisory boards. The individual in this position will be responsible for translating scientific research and insights into actionable strategies that maximize brand performance. This includes leading the alignment of execution with both internal and external partners to implement tactical plans that meet business objectives. The role requires a collaborative approach, working closely with various internal teams such as Sales, Marketing, Medical, Regulatory, and Finance, as well as external partners to ensure the successful execution of the business plan. Key responsibilities include managing congress and conference engagements, developing professional education content, executing advisory board strategies, and creating a digital asset ecosystem to support professional education programming. The Product Manager will also be tasked with tracking and reporting on program effectiveness, ensuring compliance with company regulations, and leading marketing initiatives within the Rheumatology team as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Support conference and society engagement strategy and all tracking and preparations associated.
  • Lead development of engaging professional education content through CAC (Copy Approval Committee) review approval.
  • Support the execution of advisory board strategy, focusing on content development, advisor recruitment, and meeting organization efforts to optimize insight generation and dissemination.
  • Collaborate and network with key opinion leaders to generate insights that support the creation of promotional and educational programs.
  • Support the strategic and operational readiness plan for the speaker's bureau, including nomination, training, content development, and monitoring in partnership with the Thought Leader Liaison Team.
  • Collaborate closely with critical internal partners including Sales, Marketing + Operations, Medical, Regulatory, Legal, Training, and Finance to execute the defined Business Plan against project timelines.
  • Develop an ecosystem of digital assets to support recruitment and pull-through of professional education programming and new data.
  • Develop tracking and reporting on programs for improving and optimizing program effectiveness.
  • Proactively communicate with the Brand team to ensure message alignment and tactical sign-off prior to implementation.
  • Travel to facilitate, support, and assist with medical education initiatives and programs when appropriate.
  • Identify opportunities to coordinate programs across TAs to ensure scalability, cost savings, and alignment.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant local requirements, company regulations, policies, and procedures.
  • Lead Rheumatology Team-wide marketing initiatives as needed.

Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree is required; an advanced degree is preferred.
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant business experience (Marketing, Sales, Commercial Strategy, Professional Education) is required.
  • Experience in the Pharmaceutical, Medical Device, and/or Healthcare industry is required.
  • Excellent project management and problem-solving skills, with strong communication abilities for developing presentations and written documents are required.
  • Ability to navigate and achieve business impact across functions within a matrixed organization is required.
  • Good interpersonal skills with an emphasis on communication, leadership, relationship development, and influence management are required.
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a dynamic environment, set priorities, and act independently is required.
