About the position

The Product Manager, Microbiology is a pivotal marketing role responsible for managing the regional product roadmap for the Infectious Disease Diagnostic portfolio within the Microbiology franchise in North America. This position requires a deep understanding of the Infectious Disease diagnostic market, customer segmentation, and commercial execution, with a focus on identifying gaps and proposing enhancements to the product portfolio.

Responsibilities

• Define the regional product strategy and roadmap for the Microbiology product line(s), including product launches and revisions.
• Collaborate with Global and Regional Marketing on instrument portfolio development and product life cycle management strategies.
• Analyze the competitive landscape to identify key differentiators of the portfolio.
• Deliver monthly revenue and demand forecasts and manage product allocation strategies.
• Understand and incorporate Voice of Sales (VOS) and Voice of Customer (VOC) into planning and execution.
• Achieve goals and timelines while addressing tactical issues within Regional Product Management.
• Coordinate with marketing teams to ensure alignment on go-to-market strategies.
• Support the execution of strategic marketing plans and coordinate U.S. product launches.
• Train sales and technical teams and perform product demonstrations to customers.
• Comply with company quality management systems and assist in the RFP process.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences or Engineering required.
• Business background or MBA desired.
• Knowledge in clinical microbiology and/or diagnostic IVD industry highly preferred.
• Previous product management experience with life cycle management responsibilities is required.
