About the position

The Product Manager is responsible for defining and supporting the development of products that meet customer needs throughout the product-market lifecycle. This role involves collaboration with various stakeholders to identify customer needs, develop program vision and roadmap, and manage the product backlog. The Product Manager serves as the ultimate authority on product features and objectives, ensuring alignment with business goals and customer value.

Responsibilities

  • Create, manage, and prioritize product features using a backlog.
  • Generate business value and work with the Portfolio layer to ensure work cascades down to the team level.
  • Drive strategic themes and roadmap for the product lifecycle.
  • Ensure Value Streams create feasible and sustainable products and solutions.
  • Outline and prioritize enabler work to align with business value work.
  • Participate actively in ART ceremonies and responsibilities if part of an ART.
  • Support and review system demos to ensure alignment with business value deliverables.
  • Identify and manage Program risks.
  • Track and manage feature metrics, including progress and areas for improvement.
  • Identify customers and stakeholders, managing relationships and validating proposed solutions.
  • Develop Lean Business Cases for Epics and manage product financials.
  • Drive product innovation and manage vendor relationships.
  • Conduct customer satisfaction surveys and prioritize defect resolution.

Requirements

  • 5-10 years' experience as a Product Manager (managing the process, not people).
  • Experience with Agile methodologies.
