About the position

The Product Manager for New Product Development at Sarnova is responsible for identifying and commercializing new product lines and service opportunities within the Cardiac Response division. This role involves collaboration with Senior Leadership, Sales, and Marketing to define and execute new revenue strategies, requiring strong organizational and analytical skills along with an entrepreneurial mindset. The position significantly influences organizational strategy by building a pipeline of new products and onboarding new vendors.

Responsibilities

  • Identify potential new products and services for the Cardiac Response division.
  • Work cross-functionally to identify new revenue streams and advance current pipeline initiatives.
  • Monitor industry trends and develop comprehensive growth strategies for critical market segments.
  • Develop the company's positioning, targeting, and strategies related to new products/services to enhance profitability and performance.
  • Investigate, evaluate, and vet potential new product/service lines for market viability, strategic alignment, and revenue potential.
  • Formulate comprehensive business plans encompassing market opportunity, go-to-market strategy/positioning, and potential revenue opportunity.
  • Identify potential portfolio risks in both the existing portfolio and proposed business plans, and develop strategies to mitigate them.
  • Interface and collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and MIS/IT leaders to fill portfolio gaps and address market demands.
  • Attend local and national tradeshows to identify new revenue opportunities.
  • Articulate and sell the value and vision of Sarnova to potential new business partners.
  • Organize, track, and report on new opportunities and the pipeline of ongoing projects.

Requirements

  • Strong business acumen, including exceptional financial and data analytics skills.
  • Understanding and adherence to new product launch processes with an innovative mindset.
  • Excellent presentation and facilitation skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence.
  • Strong contract negotiation skills.
  • Strong project management and marketing skills with the ability to work cross-functionally.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft suite; experience with PowerBI is helpful.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field with business/marketing experience.
  • Experience in Business Development and/or Marketing strongly preferred.
  • Experience with development, launch, and/or management of SaaS programs preferred.
