About the position

The Product Manager for the North American Warewash and Waste Division at ITW is responsible for supporting and growing the Food Equipment Group's Warewash business. This role involves market research, product development, go-to-market planning, demand generation, and sales support for commercial dishwashers. The Product Manager will work closely with engineering and product development teams to ensure alignment with customer needs and will provide training and support to sales teams to maximize product sales.

Responsibilities

  • Support ongoing discovery of new product and business opportunities through competitor and market analysis and customer research.
  • Work with stakeholders to understand market needs and provide clear product specifications and business plans.
  • Ensure New Product Development teams are aligned with customer needs through clear product specifications and launches.
  • Support organic revenue growth through commercialization, demand generation, and sales enablement activities.
  • Create go-to-market and commercial launch plans for new product launches.
  • Provide customized marketing and product support to sales teams for key account opportunities.
  • Deliver product sales training and support through presentations and marketing collateral.
  • Provide continuous updates on competitive and market intelligence.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business, or Engineering (preferred)
  • 5+ years of experience in a relevant role with demonstrated results
  • Minimum of 2 years of food service industry experience (preferred)
  • Knowledge of product marketing concepts and strategies
  • Experience with primary and secondary market research
  • Ability to translate customer requirements into product specifications
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications

  • Experience with engineering stage gate process
  • Commercial kitchen equipment knowledge
  • Experience with one significant product launch cycle
