About the position

The Product Manager/Owner role is designed for an individual who thrives in a matrix organization and possesses a strong focus on the business side of product management, particularly in enhancing customer experience. This position does not require deep technical expertise, as the company has a dedicated technical team to support the product development process. Instead, the ideal candidate will be proactive, capable of working independently, and able to take initiative without needing detailed guidance. The preferred candidates are those located in the Central or Eastern time zones, which aligns with the company's operational needs. In this role, the Product Manager/Owner will be responsible for understanding telecommunications technologies, including 4G LTE, 5G NSA, 5G SA, and Network Slicing. They will need to translate customer needs into actionable business and technical requirements, collaborating closely with IT teams to create comprehensive user stories. A key aspect of the role involves defining and categorizing key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics that will support customer engagement with the products. The candidate should also have a solid understanding of the business landscape, including market dynamics, customer needs, and competitive analysis. They will be tasked with developing products and solutions that align with the company's business goals while meeting the needs of various customer segments, including enterprise, small business, and public sector clients. Experience in managed services and familiarity with the processes and tools associated with them will be beneficial for this position. Behaviorally, the successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team to bring innovative products to market. They should be comfortable reaching out to stakeholders across the organization to gather necessary information that will facilitate successful product launches.
