About the position

The Product Manager (Payment Gateway) at Airlines Reporting Corporation (ARC) is responsible for developing and executing product strategies to enhance the payment gateway offerings. This role involves managing the product lifecycle, prioritizing enhancements, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure successful product delivery. The Product Manager will focus on increasing customer satisfaction and revenue through effective product management and customer engagement.

Responsibilities

• Create the product strategy and prioritize product enhancements.
• Develop user stories and drive the product team to complete tasks in an agile framework.
• Set product budget and goals, manage the P&L, and prioritize tasks to achieve these goals.
• Evaluate and prioritize product features for inclusion into product roadmaps.
• Work closely with Marketing, Sales, and other departments to ensure timely delivery of quality products.
• Manage customer communication, documentation, training, User Acceptance Testing, and product launch.
• Translate customer needs into user stories and involve management in revenue-impacting decisions.
• Co-lead or lead cross-functional support teams in communicating product plans and developments.

Requirements

• Deep understanding of customer needs and ability to apply that knowledge to manage products.
• Experience in developing product strategies, roadmaps, and goals based on customer and industry analysis.
• Ability to coordinate rapid and successful iterative product launches.
• Experience managing and developing products in an agile framework.
• Understanding of product release strategies and required documentation.
• Strong analytical, planning, facilitation, documentation, and communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with problem-solving abilities and capacity to achieve buy-in for solutions.
• Prior experience in payments focused on API enablement or partner integrations is highly preferred.
• Experience with payment APIs, business intelligence platforms, and cloud solutions required.
• Fundamental knowledge of card brand rules, regulations, and interchange qualifications required.
• Knowledge of PA-DSS, PCI, and 3DS required.
• Experience with corporate B2B payments, card brand regulations, tokenization, and wallet payments.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in the travel industry or related sectors.
• Familiarity with agile project management tools and methodologies.
