About the position

The Product Manager role at IBM involves leading the development and marketing of AI-powered, cloud-native software solutions. Responsibilities

  • Help with crafting sales and marketing collateral, educating the field on the product story and features.
  • Use deep understanding of the product to create compelling demos that articulate customer value.
  • Work with Technical Sales leaders to identify and train technical product ambassadors.
  • Establish clear communication channels with stakeholders, keeping sales and marketing updated on product capabilities.
  • Create and maintain product-specific communication channels, answering questions promptly.
  • Create product momentum with webinars and new feature announcements.
  • Identify and participate in sales calls to keep the product top of mind for sellers.
  • Capture and distill feedback from clients and partners to prioritize features on the roadmap.

Requirements

  • Significant years of product management experience with developer products.
  • Prior experience with secrets management products (e.g., CyberArk, AWS Secrets Manager).
  • Familiarity with coding practices in modern programming languages (Java, golang, Node, Ruby).
  • Experience with product discovery practices in collaboration with engineering and design.
  • Strong user and market research skills.
