The Product Manager for Platform Engineering at IBM is responsible for leading product ownership and growth within the software domain. Responsibilities

• Craft sales and marketing collateral to educate the field on product features and benefits.
• Create compelling demos that articulate customer value and accelerate sales.
• Work with Technical Sales leaders to identify and train technical product ambassadors.
• Establish clear communication channels with stakeholders, keeping sales and marketing updated on product capabilities.
• Create and maintain product-specific communication channels, answering questions promptly.
• Generate product momentum through webinars and feature announcements.
• Participate in sales calls to keep the product top of mind for the seller community.
• Capture and distill feedback from various stakeholders to prioritize features on the roadmap.

Requirements

• Significant years of product management experience with developer products.
• Prior experience with secrets management products (e.g., CyberArk, AWS Secrets Manager).
• Familiarity with modern programming languages (Java, Golang, Node, Ruby).
• Experience with product discovery practices in collaboration with engineering and design teams.
• Strong user and market research skills.
