About the position

Angi is seeking an experienced, results-driven Product Manager to join our Pro Experience team. This person will help transform how Angi acquires pros and sets them up for success in its marketplace that is focused on becoming the BEST place to grow home services businesses and already generates nearly $1bn annually. You will have the opportunity to improve our marketing and pro acquisition funnel, onboard pre-sale pros into the product, and create personalized experiences that ensure when pros sign up, they are set up to get jobs done well once they join. In this role, you will develop a deep understanding of the data, key metrics, and trends that drive pros' experiences in our marketplace. You will use those insights to identify new opportunities to help pros grow their business and help Angi achieve its OKRs. You will rapidly and iteratively build and launch innovative changes to our unified pro acquisition funnel that feeds all of Angi's consumer brands and supports home service professionals. You will craft and own your roadmap that focuses on ambitious goals, builds momentum, and inspires passion in the engineering and design team you'll partner with. You will partner with a team of talented software engineers, design, and data analysts to execute your plan. Developing a deep understanding of all metrics in the marketplace will be crucial so you're always making data-informed decisions that properly balance short-term revenue and long-term value. You will thrive within ambiguity and find new, creative ways to solve problems every day, with data as your guide. Identifying and launching new product ideas with a thoughtful, but fast, data-driven approach will be part of your responsibilities. When there is a gap in data, you will partner with data teams to close those gaps and ruthlessly prioritize the most impactful things so you're always learning what's best for our customers. Collaboration with Design, Data Science, Engineering, Analytics, Strategy, and Operations will be essential to make smart decisions that deliver for customers and pros.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of product management experience, including leading a team of engineers in an Agile environment.
  • Hands-on approach to finding, pulling and using data to solve problems and identify opportunities.
  • Experience building mobile apps or hybrid (mobile+web) apps, especially in a B2B or marketplace setting.
  • Ability to inspire others and constantly look for opportunities for improvement.
  • Comfortable discussing both product and business aspects, including funnel metrics and P+L's.
  • Strong storytelling skills using qualitative and quantitative data to influence stakeholders.
