About the position

The Product Manager for Process Optimization at Vanguard is responsible for leading digital product management activities for multiple digital products or one strategic product within the Institutional Investor Group. This role focuses on enhancing the client experience through collaboration with cross-functional teams, coaching product teams, and ensuring effective communication and outreach. The manager will define market needs, develop product features, and implement plans while employing qualitative and quantitative analysis techniques to improve user experience. This position is part of a hybrid work model, requiring in-office presence three days a week.

Responsibilities

• Lead digital product management activities for multiple digital products or one strategic product.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create best practices that drive significant change to the client experience.
• Coach digital product teams towards best practices and learnings.
• Ensure delivery of messaging, communication, and customer outreach as necessary.
• Partner with stakeholders to resolve production and implementation issues in a timely manner.
• Define and analyze markets, developing detailed product features and requirements, and developing implementation plans.
• Employ qualitative and quantitative analysis techniques to continually improve the user experience.
• Lead the planning, development, and implementation of new digital products.
• Participate in and provide recommendations for ongoing business planning and departmental prioritization activities.
• Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience required.
• Graduate degree preferred.
• Minimum of five years related work experience.
• Two years of leading large cross-functional teams on major organizational projects preferred.
• Possess a deep understanding of digital product(s), workflow tools (such as Appian) & process automation technologies.
