The Product Manager for Product and Channel Marketing at OptiFreight Logistics plays a crucial role in the Downstream Marketing team at Cardinal Health. This position is responsible for assessing customer needs, market conditions, and competition to inform business strategy and execute marketing initiatives that align with business goals. The focus is on defining the market, driving channel strategy, and increasing product penetration across relevant channels and markets. This includes managing the entire product lifecycle, conducting market research, commercializing products or services, and overseeing pricing, positioning, promotion, and branding efforts to enhance customer loyalty and drive business growth and profitability. In this hybrid marketing role, the Product Manager will handle both channel marketing and product marketing responsibilities. Key duties include executing essential channel marketing initiatives such as tradeshow strategy and execution, as well as product marketing deliverables like sales enablement through customer and market discovery, pipeline development and management, product positioning, and KPI tracking. The role requires coordination across various functions to share insights and align on strategies, managing relationships with both internal and external partners, and reporting on the performance of marketing campaigns and initiatives. The Product Manager will collaborate with stakeholders to develop and document goals and key performance indicators for each product and/or service in the portfolio. They will execute marketing strategies aimed at achieving established goals for return on investment and product health metrics. Additionally, the role involves managing and developing content to support channel and product strategies, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and internal policies, and monitoring key performance indicators throughout campaigns and product lifecycles. The Product Manager will also be responsible for analyzing data from marketing campaigns and market intelligence, reporting on performance, and hosting sales training and discovery calls to ensure all teams are equipped to commercialize and grow the product effectively.
