About the position

The Product Developer will serve as the Product Marketing Lead within the Product Development Studios, focusing on product development projects. This role is pivotal in driving decision-making processes for product-related deliverables, ensuring customer-centricity, and applying design thinking to foster innovation in the product portfolio.

Responsibilities

• Understand and influence technical aspects of furniture design and manufacturing.
• Lead cross-functionally with internal development teams and the adjoining Portfolio Management and Customer Vertical Market teams.
• Ensure customer centricity in product development projects and establish a direct link between research and product solutions.
• Apply design thinking to articulate insights, opportunities, and design principles that will define projects and drive innovation.
• Work with existing portfolio positioning and market information, gathering additional data to synthesize by project.
• Ensure development projects are informed by feedback loops with customers.
• Provide knowledge of material and process innovation within the furniture industry.
• Understand corporate sustainability efforts and their effects on product development planning and execution.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of product development experience.
• Proven data management experience.
• Understanding of P&L and pricing strategies.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to present to varied audiences.
