About the position

The Product Manager for BD's Identity & Access Management (IAM) solution will lead the development and management of product features, collaborating with stakeholders to understand market requirements and ensuring effective product delivery. This role involves managing the product backlog, defining detailed requirements, and working closely with cross-functional teams to enhance product offerings and improve patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand customer and market requirements.
• Manage and prioritize the product backlog to ensure efficient workflow.
• Develop detailed requirements, stories, and tasks for product features.
• Work with the market product team to define and document product requirements.
• Test and validate new releases with beta customers.
• Liaise with customers to triage, prioritize, and remediate escalations and defects.
• Coordinate with other Product Managers for release activities and value delivery.
• Provide strategic vision and direction to the product owner and scrum team throughout the product lifecycle.
• Research market trends and user needs to inform product requirements.
• Lead product release plans and set expectations for new functionalities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
• 3-5 years of experience in Technical Product Management or related roles.
• Experience in developing web applications.
• Familiarity with API security and management.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Understanding of encryption technologies and practices.
• Familiarity with Product Management tools (e.g., Aha!, Jira).
• Effective communication and collaboration skills.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work in team settings.
• Good organizational and time management capabilities.
• Experience with Agile practices and principles.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Creative thinking with a focus on product improvement.
