About the position

The Product Manager at CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield is responsible for developing and implementing strategies for the company's product line. This role involves overseeing the product lifecycle, gathering and prioritizing customer requirements, and ensuring that product development aligns with business strategies and stakeholder expectations. The Product Manager will work closely with various teams, including engineering and marketing, to deliver products that meet member needs and drive the company's digital transformation efforts.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement product strategies and roadmaps.
• Gather and prioritize product and customer requirements.
• Define product vision and ensure alignment with business strategy.
• Collaborate with engineering and other stakeholders to deliver winning products.
• Oversee product roadmap development and confirm project deadlines.
• Report on product performance using data analysis.
• Manage beta programs and develop product marketing materials.
• Facilitate marketing and stakeholder communications for all products.
• Conduct market research to inform product development and updates.
• Assist with go-to-market strategies and product launches.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Product Management, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.
• 10 years of experience in product management or as a product owner.
• Proficient in project planning and lifecycle development.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in Agile methodologies and principles.
• Ability to analyze and solve a variety of problems.
• Experience using product KPIs and business metrics.
