About the position

The Product Manager / Reservoir Engineer role involves technical evaluation of oil and gas prospects, well and reservoir surveillance, and economic evaluations at a project level. The position requires a self-motivated individual who can work independently and as part of an integrated team. The role focuses on conducting reservoir engineering evaluations to assess potential, predict performance, and optimize development plans using advanced modeling techniques.

Responsibilities

• Conduct technical evaluations of prospects and producing properties.
• Perform well and reservoir surveillance functions.
• Conduct economic evaluations at a project level.
• Carry out reservoir engineering evaluations to assess potential and predict performance.
• Optimize future depletion and development plans utilizing reservoir modeling.
• Perform pressure and rate transient analysis, decline curve analysis, and nodal analysis.
• Integrate data from various disciplines for well and reservoir modeling.
• Conduct EOR studies and economic analysis.
• Develop and present findings to senior management.
• Work collaboratively with multi-functional teams and prioritize projects.

Requirements

• BS in Engineering, preferably Petroleum.
• 5+ years of experience as a reservoir engineer with oil field related projects.
• Strong technical background in reservoir engineering, including three-phase fluid flow concepts and reservoir simulation.
• Ability to integrate data from geology, petrophysics, and geophysics.
• Experience in decline curve analysis, material balance, volumetrics, and pressure transient analysis with minimal supervision.
• Strong interpersonal skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with unconventional asset planning and development.
• Familiarity with financial metrics related to reservoir engineering.
• Proficiency in SQL and Python.
