About the position
The Product Manager will lead product development efforts in the Retail and Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) categories, focusing on driving product strategy, defining features, and ensuring successful product launches. This role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams and a strong understanding of market needs.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute product strategies aligned with market needs in the Retail and CPG sectors.
- Conduct market research to identify customer needs and trends, integrating feedback into product development.
- Collaborate with marketing, sales, and engineering teams to create a cohesive product roadmap.
- Define product specifications and prioritize features based on business and customer impact.
- Monitor product performance and make data-driven decisions for improvements and enhancements.
- Lead product launch initiatives, ensuring all teams are aligned and prepared for market introduction.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
- 3+ years of experience in product management, preferably in Retail or CPG sectors.
- Strong understanding of market analysis, product lifecycle, and customer insights.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work across various teams.
- Familiarity with Retail and Consumer Packaged Goods industries; experience in Sports or jacuzzi/pool products is a plus.
- Proficient in Excel for data analysis and reporting.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with brands in the outdoor or pool/spa space for products including jacuzzis, pools/pool equipment, air mattresses, watersports, camping equipment, or similar.
