PayPal, Inc. is seeking a Product Manager (Software Development) to join our team in San Jose, CA. In this role, you will be responsible for driving the execution of software products that ensure the health and stability of the PayPal Payment platform. Your primary focus will be on defining product requirements with a global perspective, keeping scalability, service level agreements (SLAs), and performance in mind. You will represent software products to stakeholders and peers across PayPal, playing a crucial role in establishing and enhancing the stability and health of the Payment platform. As a Product Manager, you will evangelize the payment platform product roadmap in both formal and informal settings, making tradeoff decisions based on technical and business insights. You will actively participate in the Quality Assurance process to ensure that the final product aligns with business design requirements. Your responsibilities will also include designing, building, and deploying the platform while collaborating closely with engineering and business stakeholders. You will operate at the intersection of technical teams within PayPal and various business units to understand customer needs related to payment latency, availability, scalability, and reliability. This position requires a strong technical background and the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. You will be expected to leverage your expertise in software development to drive product success and contribute to the overall mission of PayPal to revolutionize commerce globally.
