About the position

Salesforce is seeking a Senior Product Manager to join our Service Cloud team, focusing on the Contact Center product portfolio. In this role, you will be responsible for driving the execution of product strategies that leverage AI, automation, and rich user experiences. As a Senior Product Manager, you will work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, user experience, go-to-market strategy, sales, and customer success, to ensure that our products meet the evolving needs of our customers and the market. Your expertise will guide the product development process from inception through launch and scaling, ensuring that we deliver high-quality, marketable products on time. You will own the product vision for your area, ensuring alignment with the overall product strategy and market trends. This involves being an expert in your domain, understanding customer needs, and evangelizing the product vision to all stakeholders. You will represent the voice of the customer, building impactful relationships and incorporating their feedback into the product creation process. Your responsibilities will include driving the entire feature delivery lifecycle, from researching user needs and writing feature specifications to collaborating with engineering teams for development and testing. Collaboration is key in this role, as you will need to create alignment between various teams and stakeholders. Clear and efficient communication is essential, as you will coordinate product release communications and define expectations for engineering teams. You will also represent Salesforce at customer meetings, industry events, and online platforms, showcasing your expertise and promoting our products effectively. This position requires a strong problem-solver with excellent organizational and analytical skills, as well as hands-on experience in UX design and user interface development.

Responsibilities

  • Own the product vision for your area and ensure alignment with the overall product strategy.
  • Represent the customer and build impactful relationships, bringing their voice into the creation process.
  • Drive the entire feature delivery lifecycle, from research to marketable product delivery.
  • Collaborate across teams to create alignment between engineering and stakeholders.
  • Communicate clearly and efficiently, coordinating product release communications and defining expectations for engineering teams.
  • Represent Salesforce as a domain and product expert at customer meetings and industry events.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in product management, with at least 6 years of solid product management experience.
  • Proven track record of building products from concept to delivery.
  • Experience in gathering and transforming product requirements into actionable roadmaps.
  • Strong problem-solving, organizational, and analytical skills.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, including experience in high-level business discussions.
  • Hands-on experience with UX design and creating intuitive user interfaces.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment under pressure.

Nice-to-haves

  • Ability to deliver results in global, matrixed environments with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Prior CCaaS product experience is a huge plus.
  • Working knowledge of Salesforce products and APIs is a plus.
  • Experience presenting to executive leadership and handling sensitive customer situations.
  • MBA is a plus.
