About the position

As a Product Manager in the Corporate and Investment Bank's Digital and Platform Services team at JPMorgan Chase & Co., you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of product innovation. You will be an integral part of a dynamic team that is dedicated to innovating new product offerings and managing the end-to-end product life cycle. Your primary responsibility will be to act as the voice of the customer, ensuring that the products developed are not only profitable but also provide significant value to clients. In this role, you will utilize your deep understanding of product development to guide the successful launch of new products. This includes gathering crucial feedback from clients and ensuring that their experiences with the products are top-tier. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products that are scalable, resilient, and stable. Your commitment to excellence will be key in ensuring that the products resonate with clients and meet their needs effectively. You will be responsible for developing a comprehensive product strategy and vision that aligns with customer needs. This involves managing discovery efforts and conducting market research to uncover customer solutions that can be integrated into the product roadmap. Additionally, you will own and maintain a product backlog that supports the overall strategic roadmap and value proposition. Tracking key success metrics such as cost, feature functionality, risk posture, and reliability will also be a critical part of your responsibilities, ensuring that the products you manage are successful in the marketplace.

Responsibilities

  • Develops a product strategy and product vision that delivers value to customers
  • Manages discovery efforts and market research to uncover customer solutions and integrate them into the product roadmap
  • Owns, maintains, and develops a product backlog that enables development to support the overall strategic roadmap and value proposition
  • Builds the framework and tracks the product's key success metrics such as cost, feature and functionality, risk posture, and reliability

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in product management or a relevant domain area
  • Advanced knowledge of the product development life cycle, design, and data analytics
  • Proven ability to lead product life cycle activities including discovery, ideation, strategic development, requirements definition, and value management
