About the position

The Product Manager for Supply Chain Management will be part of the Global Biologics & Sterile Operating Unit (GBSO) Value Chain Management (VCM) Team, responsible for supporting the product strategy in alignment with manufacturing and global health goals. This role involves strategic oversight of the product lifecycle, risk management, and supply chain design, requiring strong project management and communication skills to drive results and team collaboration.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Product Leader in end-to-end value chain management for assigned products.
  • Develop Product Master Plans defining global product strategies and lifecycle management.
  • Contribute to the annual revision of the Biologics Manufacturing Strategy.
  • Manage project and portfolio priorities to maximize brand assets.
  • Engage with VCM analytics on forecasting and supply models.
  • Support the Value Chain Management Teams and cross-functional working groups.
  • Lead or support End to End Product Risk Assessments for assigned products.
  • Resolve global product disruptions and establish long-term supply chain alternatives.
  • Lead strategic initiatives or projects for the Value Chain Management Team.
  • Support siting selection, supply chain design, and business case assessments.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Arts and Science required (Supply Chain Management, Scientific disciplines, or Engineering preferred).
  • Minimum of 5 years relevant work experience.
  • Broad cross-functional skills and business/management/operations experience.
  • Strategic thinking and ability to assimilate complex inputs into integrated strategies.
  • Demonstrated ability to make timely decisions in ambiguous situations.
  • Horizontal and vertical leadership skills.
  • Proactive mindset with eagerness to improve value chains.
  • Cross-functional project management experience with geographically diverse teams.
  • Proficiency in project and portfolio management tools and techniques.
  • Strong data analysis skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Previous large molecule/biologics experience in supply chain.
  • Experience with Finished Good Packaging.
  • Knowledge of best practices in Supply Chain Management.
  • Lean Leader trained or Lean Six Sigma Certification.
