About the position

The Product Manager will be part of the Global Biologics & Sterile Operating Unit (GBSO) Value Chain Management (VCM) Team, responsible for supporting the product strategy and supply chain design in alignment with the company's manufacturing and global health goals. This role involves strategic oversight of the product lifecycle, risk management, and continuous improvement of the supply chain, requiring strong project management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Product Leader in end-to-end value chain management for assigned products.
  • Develop Product Master Plans defining global product strategies and lifecycle management.
  • Contribute to the annual revision of the Biologics Manufacturing Strategy.
  • Manage projects and portfolios to maximize brand assets and drive value creation opportunities.
  • Engage with VCM analytics COE for forecasting and supply model maintenance.
  • Support the running of Value Chain Management Teams and Supply Chain Working Groups.
  • Lead or support End to End Product Risk Assessments and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Resolve global product disruptions and establish long-term supply chain alternatives.
  • Lead strategic initiatives or projects on behalf of the Value Chain Management Team.
  • Support siting selection, supply chain design, and business case assessments.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Arts and Science required, preferably in Supply Chain Management, Scientific disciplines, or Engineering.
  • Minimum of 5 years relevant work experience in cross-functional roles.
  • Broad knowledge of Supply Chain, Finance, Regulatory, Quality, Compliance, Manufacturing Operations, and Commercial Operations.
  • Strategic thinking with the ability to integrate complex inputs into a cohesive strategy.
  • Demonstrated decision-making ability in ambiguous situations.
  • Strong horizontal and vertical leadership skills.
  • Proactive mindset with a focus on improving value chains and business processes.
  • Experience in cross-functional project management with diverse teams.
  • Strong data analysis skills and experience in project and portfolio management tools.

Nice-to-haves

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with large data sets.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Previous experience in large molecule/biologics supply chain and operations.
  • Knowledge of best practices in Supply Chain Management.
  • Lean Leader trained or Lean Six Sigma Certification.
