About the position

The Product Manager at Teachers Pay Teachers (TPT) will play a crucial role in driving the growth of the platform, which is the largest marketplace for educational content created by educators. This position requires a technically-minded individual who is eager to connect more teachers with TPT and optimize products for search. The role involves collaboration with various stakeholders and a willingness to adapt to unique product management practices.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders in Marketing, Engineering, and Product to optimize search and discovery efforts.
• Assist with prioritizing and identifying issues and opportunities to connect buyers with resources.
• Partner with engineering and digital marketing specialists to develop best practices across the website.
• Work with Design to create solutions that enhance search engine optimization and discovery.
• Manage and execute a strategic plan that aligns with the company's goals and metrics.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in STEM or related field.
• 3+ years of product management experience.
• Experience working collaboratively with Engineering, Design, and QA.
• Extremely strong analytical skills for providing creative solutions to complex problems.
• Knowledge of website design and development, with exposure to HTML and CSS.

Nice-to-haves

• Familiarity or previous work experience with education, ecommerce, and/or marketplace systems.
• Passion for improving education through technology.
