About the position

The Product Manager - Tech for Amazon Music Payments is responsible for leading the Payments charter within the Amazon Music Subscriptions team. This role focuses on enhancing the subscription management experience for Amazon Music Unlimited customers by ensuring secure and easy payment processes. The position involves experimenting with new ideas to reduce customer churn related to payments and collaborating with various teams to drive product development and improvements.

Responsibilities

• Write and deliver business requirement documents and artifacts required to enable the team's development of products, features, and infrastructure.
• Maintain and continuously prioritize backlog and roadmap based on data and customers' needs.
• Write narratives to advocate for and justify product launches/changes.
• Plan and define the long-term vision of your product areas of ownership.
• Build and improve a working relationship with your partners and stakeholders.
• Contribute to and develop the team's processes/mechanisms.
• Regularly participate in stand-ups, design reviews, and other meetings with engineers, contributing to discussions to ensure a high quality bar.

Requirements

• 5+ years of customer-facing product development and product management experience.
• Knowledge of agile product development and life-cycle management process.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams to deliver products and online services on tight deadlines.
• Experience with payment products.
