About the position

The Product Manager - Technical II at Mastercard is responsible for driving the strategy and innovation of the Identity Solutions Services Management (ISSM) and Identity Solutions Services Test (ISST) applications. This role focuses on enabling over 3,000 companies to manage their onboarding and ongoing administration for the Identity Check product, which facilitates user authentication during e-commerce transactions. The position requires a blend of technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders to deliver high-quality software solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver solutions by conducting system and business analysis for software solutions.
  • Write and maintain high-quality features and stories to guide the development team.
  • Plan, design, and develop technical solutions to meet business requirements.
  • Collaborate with developers, UX designers, and internal customers to define business requirements.
  • Coordinate and conduct functional demos for stakeholders.
  • Understand and explain the business context and customer use cases.
  • Develop expertise within feature areas and coordinate with interdependent teams.
  • Facilitate constructive dialogue to resolve differing views.
  • Ensure timely and accurate communication with development and internal staff throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements

  • Ability to understand the technologies supporting the platform product.

  • Experience working in an agile environment.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Apps (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Teams, Outlook, etc.), Confluence, ALM, Remedy, Jira, Aha!
  • Understanding of user experience design principles.

  • Experience in designing and developing complex, multi-tier software solutions.
