The Product Manager, Technical role within the Accounting Technology organization will be responsible for the implementation vision, strategy, analysis, customer evangelism, as well as be a respected professional relationship builder - all rolled into a single dynamic package. Responsibilities

  • Own the technology product roadmap end-to-end for technical capabilities and features with high levels of complexity and scope.
  • Craft, manage, maintain, and communicate the product vision and strategy, including the technical vision and capabilities.
  • Partner with business, internal/external collaborators, and leadership to understand the current customer experience and identify areas for feature improvement during conversion and implementation.
  • Conduct quantitative and qualitative data analysis to identify product innovation opportunities, root causes of issues, and assess opportunity size and impact.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for the intake process for our Accounting Technology team.
  • Collaborate with business and stakeholders to understand current customer experiences, identify opportunities, ideate on reporting and analytics, and create and manage product vision and roadmap.
  • Advocate for a strong customer focus that aligns decision-making with IT investment choices and prioritization.
  • Partner with stakeholders and development teams to create and communicate the release schedule.
  • Manage the 'big picture' of challenges impacting the customer experience, including technical, functional, process, and accounting policy considerations, and creatively define and design solutions to these challenges.
  • Develop and maintain an understanding of current tech trends.
  • Develop and communicate a point of view on complex technical topics, aligning multiple domains, both technical and non-technical, on a common vision.
  • Own the product(s) end-to-end as well as the roadmap at the technology/functional level.
  • Lead and manage product backlog and priorities with business and technology partners.
  • Conduct requirements gathering to ensure comprehensive understanding and documentation of business needs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT or equivalent experience.
  • 4+ years experience in hands on technical specs, configuration with Corporate Finance applications and billing systems.
  • 4+ years of relevant Product Management experience in an agile software product development environment.
  • Advanced level understanding of Finance customer experience.
  • Ability to understand complex Accounting concepts and how business requirements are solutioned in our technology products.
  • Experience working in a technical or analyst role with financial systems.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Azure, ADF, Snowflake & Cloud technologies.
  • Strong, proven interpersonal, communication and presentation abilities.
  • Strong background in SQL and/or Python.
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as PowerBI.
  • Working knowledge of Agile, Dev Ops, CI/CD and traditional SDLC methodologies.

  • Telco industry knowledge a plus.
