About the position

The Product Manager - Technical position is a critical role that requires extensive experience in Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and Critical Manufacturing (CM). The ideal candidate will have over 12 years of experience in developing and configuring solutions tailored to customer manufacturing processes and plant models. This role involves planning and designing technology solutions that meet the specific needs of clients, ensuring that the solutions are aligned with industry best practices. In this position, you will collaborate closely with managers and clients to assess their IT needs and present strategies to designers and developers. You will be responsible for executing quality control activities across all architectural and engineering elements of projects. Additionally, you will provide consultancy on MES solutions, integrating necessary systems and subsystems into the overall MES platform. Your role will also involve supporting internal business requirements by working with key users and the MES agile core team to identify effective solutions. Interaction with Subject Matter Experts, plant users, and various stakeholders will be essential for conducting AS-IS studies of the current landscape and defining the TO-BE plan for MES. Responsibilities include requirement gathering, design, configuration, testing, and deployment of MES solutions. As a Product Manager, you will jointly perform activities to assess the financial and commercial viability of products, manage and develop your team, and execute product launches by collaborating with various teams. You will track productization, go-to-market (GTM) planning, and revenue projections, ensuring the successful launch of prototypes, including conceptualization, functional specifications, release plans, and product roadmaps. Identifying opportunities for product improvement and innovation will also be a key aspect of your role, requiring proactive engagement with customers to understand their needs.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and configure MES solutions according to customer manufacturing process requirements and plant models.
  • Plan and design the structure of technology solutions.
  • Collaborate with managers and clients to determine IT needs.
  • Present strategies to designers and developers based on agreed-upon plans.
  • Execute quality control activities for all architectural and engineering elements on projects.
  • Provide consultancy on Critical Manufacturing / MES solutions and integrate necessary systems into the overall MES platform.
  • Support internal business requirements by working with key users and the MES agile core team.
  • Conduct AS-IS studies of current landscape and define TO-BE plans for MES.
  • Gather requirements, design, configure, test, and deploy MES solutions.
  • Perform activities to determine the financial and commercial viability of products.
  • Manage, guide, and develop the team.
  • Execute product launches by collaborating with various teams for tracking productization, GTM planning, and revenue projections.
  • Deliver successful launches of prototypes, including conceptualization, functional specifications, release plans, and product roadmaps.
  • Identify opportunities for product improvement by sourcing directly from customers or understanding their needs.

Requirements

  • 12+ years of experience in MES and preferably CM.
  • B-Tech degree in a relevant field.
  • Strong technical skills in Framework-Windows-.Net.
