About the position

The Product Manager will support the Sr. Director of Chilled Water Systems in driving the strategy for Thermal Chilled Water Systems product offerings, focusing on development and management of solutions for the Americas region. This role involves collaboration across the organization to identify market applications, develop roadmaps, and execute the New Product Development Stage Gate process, particularly during the launch phases and maintenance of existing offerings.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute product lifecycle management plans including product introduction, line extension, engineered to order, and end of production.
  • Research market trends, demand drivers, customer needs, and the competitive landscape.
  • Ensure all customer-facing offering documentation and marketing collateral is available and accurate.
  • Provide offering information to Customers, Sales, Customer Service, and Application Engineering.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations, product demos, and other sales enablement tools.
  • Develop and track metrics to measure post-launch sales performance of new offerings.
  • Collaborate with Marketing teams to develop marketing programs for demand generation.
  • Manage list pricing and discounts.
  • Manage product line profitability and volume forecasts.
  • Assist in championing resolution of offering issues (i.e. delivery, quality, inventory).

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree (BS or BA) in Engineering, Marketing, or other applicable education; MBA a plus.
  • At least 7 years' relevant experience.
  • Strong quantitative, analytical, and organizational skills.
  • Effectively communicates technical information and complex ideas.
  • Technical expertise to translate customer needs/pain points to solutions.
  • Strong written/oral communication, especially in communicating customer needs.
  • Ability to analyze data, draw conclusions, and work with multiple stakeholders to drive actions.
  • General understanding of sales, marketing, operations, and financial disciplines.
