About the position

The Product Manager for WiFi at Spectrum is responsible for overseeing the development and management of WiFi products, ensuring seamless and secure access to Spectrum WiFi access points. This role involves establishing business rules, managing authentication policies, and continuously improving WiFi quality across the nation. The ideal candidate will leverage data analysis to inform product requirements and collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance customer experience and drive financial results.

Responsibilities

  • Support efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience.
  • Translate high-level process goals into specific sub-processes with appropriate documentation.
  • Develop communication plans for stakeholders and process participants.
  • Assist in developing product strategies to drive financial results.
  • Collaborate with engineering, product management peers, and marketing stakeholders on strategy implementation.
  • Lead product launches and enhancements across Charter's service and application portfolio.
  • Identify risks, dependencies, and next steps while managing communication with stakeholders.
  • Act as a Product Owner for an agile development team, writing requirements and supporting development and testing teams.
  • Document business rules, process flows, and other team documentation.
  • Conduct market research and data analysis to aid in requirement gathering stages.
  • Assist in creating the product roadmap.
  • Identify areas of improvement using available data and propose solutions.
  • Present proposed solutions for Executive review and approval.

Requirements

  • 3-5+ years of product development/management experience.
  • 3-5+ years of experience in cable, telecommunications, software, or online services.
  • BA/BS technical degree related to the telecommunications field or operational/process optimization.
  • Proficient with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Effective organizational and office management skills.
  • Strong cognitive and communication skills.
  • Effective analytical skills with a sense of urgency to achieve business results.
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
  • Ability to learn quickly and make an impact in a new environment.
  • Ability to manage and foster change within large, cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to synthesize multiple points of view for recommendations.
  • Ability to plan, prioritize, and organize effectively and independently.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and tasks under pressure.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret data and synthesize recommendations.
