About the position

The Product Manager role focuses on leading the development and launch of innovative products, particularly in web development. This position requires collaboration with various stakeholders to define product vision, strategy, and execution while working in an Agile environment. The role emphasizes strong communication and presentation skills, as well as the ability to manage product backlogs and prioritize features effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to craft vision and concept development of a product.
  • Responsible for innovation and end-to-end launch of products.
  • Work with cross-functional teams and various stakeholders, including analytics, design/user experience, engineering, and user enablement.
  • Continuously review business needs, refine priorities, outline milestones and deliverables, and identify opportunities and risks in an Agile environment.
  • Partner with stakeholders and customers to inform product vision, strategy, features, and prioritization.
  • Develop, own, and execute the product roadmap.
  • Lead the development process and manage product feature backlog.
  • Develop detailed product feature specifications and ensure clarity for development teams.
  • Assess value, develop cases, write stories, and prioritize stories, epics, and themes to align with product strategy.
  • Actively mitigate roadblocks impacting successful team completion of release/sprint goals.
  • Lead product-release plans and set expectations for delivery of new functionalities.
  • Serve as the product ambassador internally and externally, sharing knowledge and answering questions related to the product.
  • Define the vision for the team’s product and create a product roadmap based on this vision.
  • Monitor and evaluate product progress at each stage of the process.
  • Liaise with the product team and end-users to deliver updates and participate in Scrum meetings and product sprints.

Requirements

  • Previous working experience as a product owner.
  • Good to have working experience as a product manager in website development.
  • BS/MS/BTech/MTech in computer science, information systems, or related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong presentation skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and work under pressure.
