About the position

Baker Tilly is seeking a Business Analyst to join its Product Solutions Group team. This role focuses on developing digital SaaS products that enhance Baker Tilly's services into self-service offerings. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of curiosity, creativity, and technological aptitude, working closely with both business and technology stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with application development team members through the lifecycle of a project.
• Create and facilitate requirements and logical design deliverables that are understandable to both business and technology stakeholders, including requirements, use case diagrams, process flows, wireframes, and conceptual data models.
• Facilitate user acceptance of technology products with business partners.
• Perform risk-based assessments of new or in-flight projects to identify potential issues.
• Develop long-term roadmaps for delivering large-scale solutions through a series of projects.
• Identify, foster, and incorporate application development industry best practices.
• Act as the liaison between business stakeholders and the development team.
• Manage and execute test plan activities, including requirements-based test plans to assess the quality of digital project deliverables and facilitate user acceptance testing.
• Support the build of project approaches and proposals for new product opportunities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, business, finance, engineering, computer science, management information systems, or related field.
• Minimum of one (1) year of related experience; previous industry and consulting experience highly preferred.
• Demonstrate management, analytical, organization, interpersonal, project management, and communication skills.
• Highly developed Microsoft Suite skills (Word, Excel) required.
• Ability to collaborate well with others and provide exceptional client service.
• Commitment to continuous learning to stay current with applicable strategies.
• Ability to see the big picture as well as the details, with appropriate ethical knowledge and commitment.
• Exhibit a sense of urgency and commitment to quality and timely project completion.
• Project experience with full lifecycle application development (requirements gathering, use case development, system analysis and design, integration, testing, deployment).
