About the position
Screencastify is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Product Manager to join their team, focusing on enhancing educational technology solutions for the K-12 sector. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to discover, define, and deliver innovative features that improve user experience and drive product success. The Product Manager will play a crucial role in shaping the future of the company's offerings, advocating for user needs, and contributing to the company's growth in a fast-paced startup environment.
Responsibilities
- Gather insights about customer needs through qualitative and quantitative research.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product Designers and Tech teams to translate customer insights into feature ideas.
- Drive product adoption through direct user outreach and training customer-facing teams on product capabilities.
- Frequently test prototypes and feature ideas to eliminate risks before committing to production quality versions.
- Lead cross-departmental feature release teams to successfully bring your team's work to market.
- Work with company leaders to define annual and quarterly OKRs.
- Monitor and report progress on product initiatives.
- Stay up-to-date on the trends and forces shaping the K-12 market.
Requirements
- 4+ years of hands-on experience in product management, specifically with SaaS products.
- Experience in building products from 0 to 1 with a hands-on approach.
- Experience in the Ed-tech industry.
- Solid understanding of product discovery and delivery methods.
- Proven ability to collaborate with engineers, designers, sales, marketing, support, and company leaders.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment of a start-up.
