About the position

The Product Manager at Lowe's is responsible for owning the vision, strategy, roadmap, and feature definition for individual products within a product group. This role involves managing the product backlog, prioritizing work, and making product-related decisions based on customer and stakeholder needs. The Product Manager focuses on identifying gaps in product features, capturing requirements, and defining outcomes, while also collaborating with internal and external partners to ensure successful product delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Define the product vision and identify gaps and customer needs through market research and competitive analysis.
  • Develop and manage the product roadmap, making trade-off decisions and building partnerships with stakeholders.
  • Lead the product planning process by creating requirements documents and working closely with UX for design.
  • Oversee the development process by reviewing demos, validating acceptance criteria, and tracking development work.
  • Manage product launches by developing go-to-market plans and addressing issues that may impede success.
  • Track and report on product launch metrics, utilizing feedback for product iteration and improvement.
  • Represent the team in product-level discussions, using data analysis to address complex problems.
  • Work with stakeholders to prioritize customer issues and experience gaps, driving customer adoption.
  • Monitor product OKRs and success metrics, identifying opportunities for enhancements based on analytics.
  • Attend business reviews, providing product results and input into business cases for new features.
  • Maintain a prioritized product backlog aligned with product strategy and resource capacity.
  • Review and approve large and small requirements based on product strategy.
  • Align efforts across product teams and facilitate execution to maintain focus and momentum.
  • Build relationships with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to ensure successful product implementation.
  • Provide UX/UI approval for the assigned product and communicate updates to teams.
  • Collaborate with various internal and external parties to ensure support upon product delivery.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, Communications, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • 2 years of experience in project management, product management, business analysis, program management, or product marketing.
  • 1 year of experience in product and/or experience management.
  • Strong writing ability.
  • Experience in an agile software environment.
  • Experience working cross-functionally in a large organization.
  • Experience working closely with senior leadership.
  • Experience translating data into quantifiable actions/deliverables.

Nice-to-haves

  • Master's Degree in Business Administration or similar advanced degree.
  • CSPO Certification.
