About the position

As a Product Manager at Kitchen Brains, you will play a crucial role in defining and executing the product roadmap for electronic controls used in commercial appliances. This position requires collaboration with various teams and stakeholders to ensure the successful development and deployment of products that meet market needs. You will be responsible for conducting market research, gathering customer insights, and translating business priorities into actionable product requirements.

Responsibilities

• Define product roadmap, timeline, and prioritize planning for product execution.
• Develop a clear product roadmap outlining the company's path in identified markets.
• Conduct surveys to gain insights on performance, product, and market opportunities.
• Collaborate with sales, engineering, and senior management to create, design, market, and deploy new products.
• Travel and cross-train with sales leaders on customer visits to assist in the selling cycle.
• Translate business priorities into actionable product requirements and write clear Product Requirement Documents (PRDs).
• Work closely with sales and customers to identify industry and product trends.

Requirements

• B.S. in an engineering field; Master's or MBA desirable.
• Minimum of five years product management experience, managing a complete product including features, pricing, licensing, and platform responsibilities.
• Experience with manufacturing electronic/electro-mechanical product lines.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence at all levels.
• Demonstrated passion for technology, product innovation, and business strategy.
• Experience with M2M/IoT interfaces is desired.
• Background in defining Human Engineering and Graphical User Interface for a product.

Nice-to-haves

• Foodservice industry experience (Technical or Culinary) is a plus.
