About The Position

The Product Manager at Legrand is responsible for the complete management of a designated product line, which includes product development, sales support, promotional activities, and strategic planning. This role requires collaboration with various internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure revenue growth and margin performance while addressing customer and market needs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related fields.
  • 2-4 years of experience in marketing, engineering, or a related field.
  • Knowledge of fiber optic, structured cabling, or data center connectivity markets is a plus.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects.
  • Ability to interface cross-functionally and maintain open communication.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Solid business acumen and understanding of various functional areas within the business.
  • Proficient in negotiation and influencing skills.
  • Highly motivated with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the assigned product line to reflect customer and market needs, and identify new business opportunities.
  • Oversee the new product development (NPD) funnel for the assigned product line.
  • Support commercial activities, including field visits and marketing for product launches.
  • Develop marketing collateral such as catalogs, sell sheets, and training videos.
  • Monitor product line metrics, including revenue growth and gross margin performance.
  • Participate in sales and operations planning (S&OP/SIOP) to share product forecasts with sourcing and manufacturing teams.
  • Conduct market research to identify growth prospects and new markets.
  • Engage in strategic planning for market share growth and profitability.
  • Manage product lifecycle, updates, and end-of-life strategies.
  • Handle pricing, configurator, and quote tools initiatives.
