About the position

The Product Manager at Thermo Fisher Scientific will play a crucial role in enhancing healthcare marketing by developing validated business cases for new products, refining forecasting methods, and ensuring that products meet market needs. This position focuses on specialty diagnostics, particularly in the management of blood cancers and immune system disorders, and aims to improve health outcomes through strategic product management and market analysis.

Responsibilities

  • Implement and handle new and/or existing products in a portfolio through launch excellence.
  • Produce and drive credible regional market-based forecasts.
  • Develop and sustain impactful product roadmaps that align with overall portfolio and strategic company objectives.
  • Lead efforts in setting product pricing strategies and forecasting financial outcomes.
  • Establish and supervise critical metrics, providing regular reports to product and business management.
  • Partner with internal scientific and technical experts to ensure product plans are grounded in proven science.
  • Secure alignment on the product development roadmap, including goals for market expansion and software development.
  • Collaborate with Scientific Affairs to optimize the allocation of investments and resources.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree Required
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in product care, lifecycle management, upstream product marketing, forecasting.
  • Technical laboratory experience, or education in a relevant scientific field (e.g. biochemistry, molecular biology) strongly preferred.
  • Deep healthcare, diagnostic and/or clinical trial industry knowledge strongly preferred.
  • Proven track record in leading upstream marketing activities.
