About the position

As an Offering Manager at IBM, you will oversee the full lifecycle of a product offering, from validating market needs to defining solution requirements and business models. This role emphasizes innovation and collaboration across various disciplines to deliver high-quality products that meet customer demands. You will be responsible for market analysis, product definition, and managing the product lifecycle while leading cross-functional teams to achieve market leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Define product strategy and execution plans to bring high-quality products to market.
  • Conduct market and business analysis to inform product decisions.
  • Manage the product lifecycle from inception through growth, maturity, and end of life stages.
  • Collaborate with design, engineering, sales, marketing, finance, and legal teams to deliver successful products.
  • Articulate market needs, research users, and define the competitive landscape.
  • Innovate using established and emerging technologies.
  • Negotiate and collaborate on strategic initiatives, partnerships, and acquisitions.
  • Develop and execute experience-based roadmaps, business models, and go-to-market plans.
  • Define pricing, packaging, and positioning for products.

Requirements

  • At least 1 year of experience in product management, product development, or related fields (academic and internships included).
  • Exposure to and understanding of technology concepts.
  • Relevant aptitude and experience in product management.

Nice-to-haves

  • 1 or more years of job-related experience in product management or related fields.
  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in a relevant field.
