About the position

The Product Manager at Coronado Staffing Group is responsible for overseeing the product planning and execution throughout the product lifecycle. This includes gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, defining the product vision, and collaborating with various departments to meet revenue and customer satisfaction goals. The role also involves ensuring that the product aligns with the company's strategic and financial objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the launch & maintenance of New Product & Current Product Offering
  • Develop and maintain short-term and long-term product roadmaps and strategy
  • Ensure product offerings maintain a leading edge in the industry
  • Ensure product offerings have competitive advantages and serve marketplace need
  • Develop long range competitive product strategies
  • Drive product development by defining feature requirements based on market needs and product and corporate strategies
  • Chair and lead brand product planning efforts
  • Manage the collection and analysis of 'Voice-Of' various customers (Distributor, Customer)
  • Train and develop product support among internal (RSM, CSR) and external (Distribution) sales force
  • Lead responsibility in the accumulation of data for sales forecasts pertaining to Whole Goods and P&A
  • Develop and maintain accurate Sales Program for Preseason and In-season releases
  • Develop and maintain accurate and strategically supported pricing structures for new and existing whole goods, service parts, and accessories
  • Assist in the development and training of Product Marketing personnel
  • Coordinate the accumulation of any Distributor and/or Customer Satisfaction Data & Indices
  • Participate in continuous improvement efforts in systems and procedures
  • Gather/analyze competitive marketing activities
  • Assist in the development of advertising copy, merchandising, sales programs and campaigns
  • Manage the growth, development, and marketing strategies for Parts & Accessories
  • Assist with development of product and sales training programs
  • Participate in Sales School sessions
  • Work & attend various industry trade shows and exhibits
  • Represent brand marketing on various committees and teams

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Marketing, or Business Administration
  • Master's degree preferred
  • 2-5 years of traditional multi-functional marketing experience
  • Extraordinary presentation, writing, reporting, and communication skills
  • Demonstrated project management expertise within a cross-functional team
  • Basic understanding of structural, electrical, and hydraulic language and terminology
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Statistical analysis skills
  • Ability to work within a fast-paced matrix organization
  • Self-starter with excellent time management and prioritization skills
