About the position

The Product Manager at ITT Inc. is responsible for the profitable growth of assigned product lines and business portfolios. This role involves defining and implementing new product introduction strategies, providing technical support to sales staff, and coordinating pricing and product rationalization activities. The Product Manager will facilitate communication across various departments and serve as the primary customer interface to develop and deploy product roadmaps.

Responsibilities

  • Assume responsibility for assigned Product Management area, including product planning and strategies.
  • Manage portfolio and product roadmaps for assigned product group.
  • Recommend, investigate, and document new product opportunities.
  • Coordinate with SIOP Manager/Process to prioritize demand and ensure resource supply meets the supply plan.
  • Champion new products through the product development process, ensuring timely introductions.
  • Conduct, coordinate, and manage product launches, including support for marketing communications materials.
  • Maintain direct contact with key customers, distributors, and agents worldwide, participating in industry trade shows.
  • Develop and maintain key business contacts within the industry.
  • Assist with the development of technology roadmaps and convert them into new concepts and product offerings.
  • Develop and execute strategies to drive growth, retention, and profitability, optimizing market penetration.
  • Identify and recommend potential teaming and acquisition targets in conjunction with the leadership team.
  • Monitor competitive activities and perform market attractiveness analysis.
  • Organize and manage proposal preparation, pricing establishment, and quotation activities.
  • Conduct margin analysis, cost reduction, and customer management within assigned product line.
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly reports detailing account status and revenue growth figures.
  • Assist with advertising and sales promotion programs.

Requirements

  • Business Management or Engineering degree with 3 to 5 years of progressive experience in technical sales, proposal, or business development, preferably in the aerospace manufacturing industry.
  • Excellent communication skills combined with strong presentation skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PPT).
  • Experience with New Product Introduction (NPI) planning and implementation.
  • Budgeting, scheduling, and determining priorities based on business and customer needs.
  • Proven ability to understand customer requests and identify product opportunities.
