About the position

The Product Manager at Legrand is responsible for the complete management of a designated product line, which includes product development, sales support, promotional activities, and strategic planning. This role requires collaboration with various internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure revenue growth and margin performance while addressing customer and market needs.

Responsibilities

  • Maintenance of assigned product line reflecting customer/market needs and cost improvements.
  • Ownership of new product development (NPD) projects for the assigned product line.
  • Support commercial activities including field visits and marketing for product launches.
  • Assist in the development of marketing collateral such as catalogs and training videos.
  • Manage product line metrics including revenue growth and gross margin performance.
  • Conduct market research to identify growth prospects and new markets.
  • Participate in strategic planning for market growth and competitive benchmarking.
  • Manage product lifecycle and end-of-life strategies.
  • Oversee pricing, configurator, and quote tools initiatives.
  • Manage information required for business operations such as inventory and forecasting.

Requirements

  • BS in Business, Engineering, or related fields.
  • 2-4 years' experience in marketing, engineering, or related field.
  • Knowledge of fiber optic, structured cabling, or data center connectivity markets is a plus.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects.
  • Ability to interface cross-functionally and maintain open communication.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Solid business acumen and understanding of various functional areas.
  • Proficient in negotiation and influencing skills.
  • Highly motivated with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
