About the position

The Product Manager at Dorel Juvenile Group is responsible for the short to mid-term development of the product roadmap aimed at increasing market share and sales contribution. This hybrid role involves collaboration with various teams to drive product strategy, manage product lines, and ensure timely project execution, all while aligning with the company's mission to care for precious life.

Responsibilities

• Support vision and strategy for the relevant category and/or product group.
• Identify product opportunities based on analysis of trends, consumer and market data, and retailer feedback.
• Participate in the creation and implementation of three-year roadmaps.
• Manage the product portfolio, including analysis related to adding, growing, and exiting categories and SKUs.
• Provide quantitative and qualitative inputs for business cases and financial assessments.
• Conduct market analysis and report findings to brand leaders and managers.
• Create market-data based questions for qualitative and quantitative research.
• Manage category margin requirements for new products.
• Develop product briefs and update them as necessary to meet marketing goals.
• Influence and lead cross-functional teams to drive schedules and product development.
• Develop and maintain relationships with Brand and Retail Marketing to execute commercialization plans.
• Play a lead role in market launches for assigned categories.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing or Business preferred.
• 5+ years' experience in a similar position, preferably in consumer goods.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to inspire and lead teams effectively.
• Strong analytical skills for market and product analysis.
• Customer-first attitude and strong team player.

• Experience working closely with big box retailers.
• Out-of-the-box thinking for process improvement.
