About the position

The Global Product Manager (GPM) at FUJIFILM Healthcare Americas Corporation is a key member of the Solution and Product Planning team, responsible for managing various aspects of product development and commercialization within the IT portfolio. The GPM will develop product plans, act as a Product Owner, and coordinate with relevant departments to execute these plans effectively. This role requires strong leadership and communication skills, as the GPM will represent the voice of the customer and ensure alignment with business objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Creation of Project Charters.
  • Market Requirements Definition (MRD).
  • Product Requirements Definition (PRD).
  • Development of User Stories and Use Case Scenarios.
  • Management of development team and sprints.
  • Expertise in User Interface and Serviceability.
  • Management of product and professional service pricing.
  • Beta Site Management.
  • Industry Representation on various panels and organizations.
  • Sales and channel partner support.
  • Business development and third-party relationship support.
  • Defining product requirements in development engineering terms for Imaging product development and enhancements.
  • Representing the voice of the customer as Product Owner.
  • Understanding and delivering on ROI while managing business stakeholders.
  • Maintaining constant communication with the team.
  • Making rapid tactical development decisions impacting functionality or usability.
  • Participating in technical release planning and writing Use Cases and User Stories.
  • Maintaining the product backlog and participating in Sprint/Macro review meetings.
  • Monitoring progress and making adjustments based on strategic objectives.
  • Managing the PO team and providing direction in the absence of the Manager or LPO.
  • Working with various Business Units, QA/RA, and stakeholders to develop Product Release schedules and a five-year product roadmap.
  • Collecting product requirements from global stakeholders and prioritizing them for future releases.
  • Exploring new product areas with the Strategic Business Planning team and creating business plans.
  • Reviewing new products and software release plans with System Engineering and Development Engineering teams.
  • Managing product release to regional BUs and Regional Product Marketing teams.
  • Coordinating with QA/RA during the Design Transfer process and supporting RA with CAPA actions.
  • Supporting International Trade Shows as a Global Solution and Product member.
  • Monitoring and analyzing product/software release deployment and managing actions by support teams.
  • Defining product life cycle and proposing discontinuation at product end-of-life.
  • Developing and producing presentation and marketing materials.
  • Ensuring compliance with HCUS policies and procedures and applicable regulations.

Requirements

  • BS degree in a Medical Imaging discipline; MS desired.
  • At least three years' experience as a product manager for Medical IT and/or Imaging products, with 1-2 years direct experience as a Product Manager within HCUS/MIPD.
  • Strong understanding of clinical departments and workflow, with an emphasis on imaging.
  • Experience managing IT projects and coordinating multiple software releases and implementations in parallel.
  • Proven track record working with Marketing, Business Development, Engineering/QA, and Regulatory Affairs.
  • Competitive knowledge of Medical IT and Imaging products.
  • Experience developing and launching service-related products to improve efficiency.
  • Experience integrating products with third-party vendors.
  • Strong relationship building, mediation, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Experience with pricing and cost tracking.
  • Strong computer skills and understanding of MS hardware/software environments and applications (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Project).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to travel independently on company business, approximately 6 times per year.
